USED Ibanez Artist AR-150 1983 Black, MIJ

Listing is for an AWESOME and used hard to find Ibanez AR-150 Artist model, made in Japan in 1983 with the original hardshell case! These things are KILLER guitars and far better than the Gibsons of the same era.

Guitar is all original, including the Hard Rocker trem (bar included, just forgot to put it on the guitar for the pics, it is pictured in the case though!) and highly desirable original Super 58 pickups, with push/push pots tone pots for coil-taps. Guitar has certainly seen some play and has numerous small dings, dents, etc, but we attempted to show the worst of these in the pictures. The inside of the case also has a slight musty smell as if it were sitting under a bed or in a closet for 20 years - pretty sure it DID sit in a closet or under a bed for that time prior to now!

As far as the specs go, it's a solid mahogany body and neck, rosewood fingerboard, gold hardware with the original "Velve tune" tuning keys and Hard Rocker single locking tremolo. Also notice the way Ibanez shielded the electronics in these guitars at the time - very cool!
