D’Light Custom Guitars “Cooder-Caster” Pine T-Style 2023 Tobacco Burst

Meet "Cooder"

Another wonderful D'Light Custom creation, Cooder boasts a Pine T-Style body in a hot Tobacco Burst that has been artfully reliced by D'Light's own Dion Light! While this is a "new guitar" it gives us a vibe like we are playing a classic tele from the 60's!

Her aged vintage style tuners, aged Fender bridge with Callaham compensated brass saddles, paired with the mid 60's Jaguar vintage beveled magnet stagger is a direct knod the the genius of the late Mr Florance/Voodoo Te 70, but made up from the .195" diameter Alnico 3 magnets rearranged out of the stock '54 Strat repros gives it a unique tele sound.

After playing a half a dozen or so D'Light creations, we've noticed that he has a true vision for how he pairs the components of his guitars. Over the years we've sold dozens of "partscasters" (some of which were great) and sometimes those guitars feel like they are random components that don't have a "matching" vibe......With Dion's creations, it's truly apparent when we play them that he has that knack of matching and fitting parts to a level where it really feels like the guitar might have been a factory guitar. Some call it "Mojo", we call it Craftsmanship!!!
