About This Listing

This is a 20" K Zildjian Custom Dry Ride, which I weighed at a fairly hefty 2795 grams. This cymbal is unlathed and the bell and approximately 1/2 inch of the outer edge of the cymbal are not hammered (the bell and edge are depicted in the photos). I could not find a stamp on this cymbal, nor could I find an "S", which is sometimes found on unstamped Zildjians to indicate they are factory seconds. As this cymbal has the imprinting designating it as a Zildjian on the top and bottom, I do not believe it was a factory second, and it simply missed its stamp, which is known to happen. I purchased this cymbal from the estate of a studio owner and it is in excellent condition, without any cracks, keyholing, or flea bites. The only flaw I found in the cymbal was a small bump in the edge of the cymbal that apparently occurred when it was placed on its edge on an object. This slight defect is shown in the last photo with this listing. The edge defect does not impact the sound and would not appear to raise any risk of additional damage. The cymbal is heavily tarnished but that is a characteristic of these cymbals, I believe, and that can be removed with a proper cleaning.

The cymbal will be packed with two layers of bubble wrap, shipped in a sturdy box made for it, and insured for the amount of the purchase.

Product Overview
Crafted with a randomized machine-hammered pattern across the bow and completed in an un-lathed, unpolished finish, the Zildjian 20" K Custom Dry Ride offers some of the driest, most articulate sticking available in a cymbal.
