For sale is a 1983 Westone Thunder I-A Active Electric Bass in very good condition with rare original hardshell case! This may be one of the coolest vintage MIJ basses that has come through here at Mill River Music. This Thunder I-A basses features one thunderous and versatile "Hard Puncher I" P-style pickup with Active tone knob etched with B-O-T along with standard volume and tone knobs. There is also a coil split switch and an active/passive switch. The body is made from ash, maple and walnut and the bolt on neck is three-ply maple with a substantial C-shape. The scale length is 34 inches with a 20 fret rosewood fingerboard and brass nut, high-quality Westone tuners. What a dream! Wrapped together in a black finish that might even make Batman want to play a little. Minor cosmetic wear and tear (see photos). Overall weight 9lbs 4oz.
