Bruno and Sons Circa 1920's 10 inch open back banjo mandolin. This is a higher end model with crescent moons, star and fleur de lis inlays on the peghead. Diamond inlays on the fingerboard. The fingerboard has stood the test of time well and has very little wear. The neck is maple with a burgundy red stain that has worn to give it just the right look. This great instrument appears to have the original calf skin banjo head that has some wear from the bridge. This little beauty sings loudly even though it's equipped with a tone ring under the head The bridge may be original. The tuners are original and hold their tone and work well with a little bit of effort. Comes with the original case. This is an amazingly neat instrument that has been around for nearly a hundred years and could be around for another.
