Here is a genuine American made Gibson Century Lap Steel! The serial number is "11172", the pots have a code of "615 0689 0.5 MEG 048" which dates them to the 48th week of 1950. The inspection tag inside the case is also dated to September 7, 1950.

This one is in excellent condition overall. There are some small nicks around the edges and a few light scratches, but no major issues like cracks or structural issues. It's in excellent playing condition with no major issues. The hardware and electronics are original and in excellent working condition. It's completely original aside from the white buttons on the tuners (the originals completely fell apart). The pickup measures 8.46 Ω.

It comes with the original case which has some general wear on the outside. All of the latches, hinges and handle are in excellent working order and the interior has no bad odors. Most of the original accessories are also included: vintage Mona-Steel Strings, Chase metal slide, picks and the key for the case.

Please note that I do not set up my guitars before mailing. I have played it and everything is great as far as I'm concerned, but you may need to change the strings, adjust the action or do other maintenance to get it to your preferences.
