One of a kind Gibson LP Classic with custom Bronze Metallic paint done at Gibson's Mod Shop, plus a few other mods. It's a subtle metallic on a maple top, a nice cherry red mahogany back and neck, all covered in a gloss nitrocellulose lacquer. Its loaded with 60's BurstBucker pickups, black witch hat knobs, and mixed chrome/gold hardware. The output jack plate is gold, various screws are gold, etc. Very nicely figured rosewood fretboard, chrome Grover tuners, three way toggle switch, ABR-1 bridge, stopbar tailpiece, black pickguard and new .10-.46 strings. Stamped "Mod" on back of headstock. Own this one of a kind Les Paul! Reasonable offers considered.
It is in absolutely excellent condition, but there are some surface scratches on the pickup rings and bobbins, and some light scratches in a few different areas of the neck binding. No other dings, cracks, scratches, or buckle rash noted. Plenty of adjustability left in the truss rod (see photo) and has Gibson branded pots with orange drop capacitors (see photo). Everything works perfectly. Comes with OHSC, COA, warranty info (it still has a two year playability warranty), Gibson branded strap, Gibson multi tool, and polishing cloth. Ships fully insured. The Gibson Les Paul™ Classic combines the early 60s style Les Paul model with some functional and time-tested modifications. As expected, the Les Paul Classic is crafted with a mahogany back and maple top coupled with a SlimTaper™ mahogany neck and a bound, rosewood fingerboard. 60s Burstbucker™ open-coil pickups provide classic Gibson tones from the era with a bit of extra punch thanks to the open coils.
