The B.C. Rich MK-7 is an updated take on the classic Mockingbird. Played by Slash, Joe Perry, and countless late 70's session guitarists, the B.C. Rich Mockingbird was a veritable swiss army knife. With its coil tap and phase switches and a 5 position varitone switch, this guitar oozes with tones! Inspired by the Mockingbirds of the late 70's and early 80's, the MK-7 is further enhanced by modern features like a Floyd Rose tremolo, locking nut, and high-gain humbuckers. From Jazz cleans to Heavy Metal distortion and everything in between, this guitar can do it all!
The guitar is in quite good shape for an instrument that's a about a decade old. The frets are in fantastic shape, and the neck feels great. The pickups sound great and all the phase and coil switches work, as well as the varitone. There isn't much noticable wear, except for a small ding on the lower backside of the guitar. The instrument does have fine finish scratches throughout from normal play and use. The plastic is still on the back and control plates. Weighs 7 lb 9 oz.
