As a former employee (2010-2017) of Rick Turner I was encouraged to build this bass after hours by Rick for personal use. One of the coolest things about working in Rick’s shop is the freedom and encouragement that he grants employees to pursue non-intrusive side-projects like personal instruments and repairs. During my 7 years of service I never once was discouraged from furthering my luthierie education. But alas, coastal California is a very expensive place to live…especially for a tradesman. I left the company on excellent terms and I am selling this bass to help fund my future education in another field.

I only gigged the bass twice as it is a high-performance niche instrument. It has some very light wear and has been well cared for. This is a one-of-a-kind and, unless someone orders this exact bass down to the minute details, it is highly unlikely that another will be made.
Regarding the sound clips...the first passage is the piezo pickup only; the second passage is the magnetic pickup only; the final passage is both pickups blended 50/50. My apologies for the sloppy playing!
Please feel free to ask me any questions regarding the bass. I still have my pay stubs from Turner if you require further proof that I was actually an employee. Shipping is free in the U.S. International customers please inquire. I am including a like-new hardshell case with the bass. Thank you for looking!
