This is a short scale (24-5/8") small parlor acoustic metal resonator guitar made from German Silver by R.E. Phillips Metal Guitars (Ron Phillips). See the official website for more about the guitars that Ron Phillips builds. It has a mahogany neck with a curly maple center stripe. The fret board is ebony with custom metal inlay on the position markers. It was hand made by Ron Phillips in 2012. It is in excellent shape given its age. As can be seen from the pictures, it has oxidation/tarnish spots. New versions of this guitar cost over $7000 and there is a multi-year waiting list to buy one.
Ron made the guitar that Del Rey has played and that is how I learned of them. It has been recently gone over thoroughly and set up by an expert guitar tech. It comes with a hard shell case.
