Restoring an old Ampex tape machine and need a strong motor? We have you covered. Original motor Manufactured by Ampex corporation. 117 V, (American 120 power). 50/60 cycle 22 amp continuous sync AC motor for Ampex 600, 601 and 602 machines. Surprisingly heavy! Will be backed very securely for you.
There’s a good amount of lead on all four wires. The motor is not damaged in any way. It has a serial number of #13758. I also have quite a few parts for other Ampex suitcase tape machine if interested.
