Mayson ESM/10CE Natural 2011 Electro Acoustic Guitar

Here for sale we have a Mayson ESM/10CE Electro Acoustic Guitar in a Natural finish. Built in China in 2011, this guitar features back and sides made with Mahogany and a solid Spruce top. The 20 fret fingerboard is made with Rosewood and sits on a Mahogany neck. This guitar features a discrete Mayson MPC-4 Purecoustics™ pickup in the sound hole. There are no controls on the guitar so all tone and volume is controlled by the amplifier being used. 

The neck shape of this instrument is rather unique. There is an angle that flattens out as you get higher up the neck which creates a great anchor for your thumb to rest on. This can only be noticed on the photos when looking at how the neck reflects light as its very discreet to the eye. The cutaway allows for great access to the higher register which is great for playing more complicated fingerpicking music.

The Spruce top of this guitar helps to create a clear and powerful sound, with little pressure from the picking hand you can create a grand and full sounding chord that rings and can be felt through your body as you play. This paired with the Mahogany back and sides mellows out the Spruce top a small amount resulting in a beefy mid range and helps reduce overtones.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Chipping is visible to the top rear edge, the other areas of the guitar headstock are in excellent condition.
Neck: Excellent condition.
Body: The rear and sides to not readily show markings. The front has some small spots of finish dents but these are not significant.

Condition of Frets:
No/little signs of wear/indents
