About This Listing

Awesome vintage combo. Short scale Danelectro/ silvertone branded electric guitar. All original, with the single lipstick pickup. Plays and sounds awesome. The amp in case combo is amazing as well. This one is the upgraded amp, so it sounds nice, and has newer power and preamp tubes. Some tolex peeling from case.

One of the common examples of the amp-in-case concept, the Silvertone 1448 was built by Danelectro and sold via Sears in the '60s. This model uses just one pickup, while the 1449 used two. These guitars have been used by the likes of Beck and Mick Jagger.
