Early 1960's Vintage Strad O LIn electric guitar....this is a hard one to research...conflicting info on who made them and where....some say Fujigen factory ion Japan, others tell me that Kay may have had some lineage with them with their bodies and necks made in Chicago and the electronics were Japanese....

this is oozing mojo....very cool patina on the tobacco finish...the neck is a chunky C shape piece of maple that is amazing ....has the battle scars of many bars and sessions....very cool overall appearance....have not found any other pic online showing this guitar...honest wear and dings consistent with age....

recent upgrades: the pots and jack needed replacing and all new wiring(have original parts in the case)...one feral replaced on the headstock...and there are replacement screws on the pickguard...the neck pickup is louder than the bridge pup....seems the two volume knobs contol each pup along with a tone knob...hard to tell if there is blending happening when you turn both up...no tremolo bar included....new strings and set up for fast action...

comes in older Fender hard-shell case....fits but body is a bit too wide and lays at an angle but case closes and protects as it should...case has a crack on outside lower end

very rare model for the Strad O Lin line....have viewed catalogs but still have not found this particular style....truly a unique addition to any collection....
