Designed to give traditional Les Paul players exactly what they want, the Les Paul Standard 50’s has that classic tone, feel and look that made us all fall in love with the LP! It pays tribute to Gibson's Golden Era of innovation and brings authenticity back to life. The Les Paul Standard 50's has a solid mahogany body with a maple top, a rounded 50's-style mahogany neck with a rosewood fingerboard and trapezoid inlays. It's equipped with an ABR-1, the classic-style Tune-O-Matic bridge, aluminum stop bar tailpiece, vintage deluxe tuners with keystone buttons, and amber top hat knobs.
The calibrated Burstbucker 1 (neck) and Burstbucker 2 (bridge) pickups are loaded with AlNiCo II magnets, audio taper potentiometers and orange drop capacitors. This combination makes for a decidedly vintage-flavored tone with incredible dynamics and sensitivity to picking style, reacting to players who dig in and back off.
The original Gibson hard shell case was damaged coming from the factory, it had broken latches, we are including a generic Les Paul case and selling this guitar at a discounted price. The guitar itself is in brand new perfect condition. Thanks for looking!
