Germanium Fuzz Face

This pedal is not just a germanium fuzz face pedal it is also a footswitch pedal that simultaneously changes the channel on your amp as it engages the fuzz effect. This is new technology that as far as I know no one else has done. There is a separate output Jack for a Universal on off foot switch that can be used to change the channel on your amp, engage Reverb, chorus or whatever else that requires an on off foot switch. 

This fuzz face uses a true bypass switch and was built using a small stash of vintage Russian germanium transistors that are no longer manufactured an extremely rare to come by these days. This circuit is identical to the original Dallas Arbiter fuzz face that was made Popular by Jimi Hendrix except for I used a rare Russian germanium MP11 transistor which provides negative ground which makes it possible to daisy chain this pedal with modern petals as opposed to the original germanium AC128 transistor which provided a positive ground that cannot be Daisy chained with modern pedals that use a negative ground. This Russian germanium transistor in my opinion has a much warmer sound than the original AC128. 

Germanium fuzz pedals are becoming more and more rare these days because the transistors used to make them are no longer made. They are very sought after for their more organic sound and because the fuzz effect on germanium pedals can be controlled with the volume knob on your guitar. With the fuzz turned all the way up on the pedal you can turn the fuzz back down with the volume knob on your guitar.
