The HB-2 is our premier Tolex 2x12 speaker cabinet offering. It features unique Hybrid construction. The sides are made from a choice hardwood and the top and bottom are solid Poplar covered in Tolex. The back and baffle are Baltic Birch. Aside from materials, what makes the HB-2 an incredible cabinet is it's unique porting system that is located vertically in the center of the cabinet allowing for a smaller overall cabinet that makes it more flexible. It sounds tremendous though and has great omnidirectionality.
Loaded with Celestion V Type speakers the HB shares the same wiring as our Working Artist line offering both 8 ohms mono as well as a Parallel extension jack.
The Cherry Sapele/Black Tolex color scheme is reminiscent of the classic SG colors.
Back is partly removable for that open back sound when desired.
Cabinet is approx. 29.875x15x11 and weighs 42lbs loaded.
