About This Listing

Found this old squier sitting fretless in a closet. Apparently it suffered the inept and amusing efforts of a 16 year old trying to emulate the bowed electric guitar of Sigur Ros. The kid didn't seem to realize that prying the frets out with a screwdriver and chisel was needlessly destructive though...

Anyway, I re-fretted it and it sounds great/plays quite well now. I couldn't do anything about the damage along the fretboard though. If you don't mind a beat-up old workhorse of a guitar, this could be just the thing for you.

According to the original owner, it had a sticker with the serial number and "Made in Japan" on it when he bought it but he removed it - this is coming from the same guy that took a chisel to it though, so I'm disinclined to take his word for it... However, the headstock graphics and lack of any other identifiers does seem to be consistent with other Japanese models from the same era. I can't say for sure though, hence the low price.

Thanks for looking!
