The slope-shouldered J-45 has been around since 1942, and this Studio version carries on the standard of outstanding looks and performance. Sitka spruce top over rosewood sides/back give the slimmer body all the depth and warmth of the traditional model. The 24 3/4” scale makes the J-45 Studio Rosewood a bit easier to play than many jumbos, but with no loss of power.

We love the Rosewood Burst nitrocellulose finish. The onboard LR Baggs Element acoustic pickup system includes an unobtrusive volume control mounted just inside the soundhole. Known for natural acoustic sound, Baggs' systems offer great dynamic range and delicate high end.

The J-45 Studio Rosewood produces plenty of low end punch (“whomp,” as it’s known around here) but not at the expense of mids and highs—perfect for recording and live use. Hardshell case included.
