Very Well built and solid unit that weighs in at almost 19 lb all by itself.
You have the best of the "Glory Days" with updates like a built in EQ and digital Tuner that's sensitive and accurate. The display is nice and bright crisp and clear. Pics are hard to take - looks so much better in front of it. This has to be a very low hours of use unit as most green or blue displays get soft or weak looking after years of "on time"
This is a time capsule of the era. I believe this is just before Scott sold out to Emerson Corp as I see no corner cutting with this build quality.

There is little info about this model online. Still, it's very intuitive to use and set up. I garnered enough to confidently state that you get a warm 45 RMS Per channel at 8s - this receiver can take down to 4 ohms and usually at a higher wattage output. You can play two sets of 8 Ohm speakers at once. While folks are chasing 15 watt marantz units for 500 and a lot more - this one comes in at an affordable price well under a Pioneer SX-737 or similar units.
Test run for several days to ensure that it's in tip top condition and will serve you reliably for many years!
You have a magnetic phono input as well as line level AUX and a normal tape monitor input. AM Loop antenna is still intact and the FM works beautifully. No scratch pots or funny noises.
Truly a unit you can enjoy for years to come !!!
