Original Valco made English Electronics Tonemaster 1X10 combo. This amp is in good working condition but at this point should be looked at by a qualified tech. Inspect old caps that probably need to be replaced along with the old two prong power cable. (Make sure the tech uses proper rated parts equivalent to the original parts, and save the original parts) Serial number dates it at 1957. Speaker produced in the 33rd week of 1956. From what I can see, I believe this amp is in mostly original condition. Besides the collectible asset of the great piece, this will be a great amp in any studio. The tone pot is a little scratchy and doesn't make a big difference in the tone leading me to believe that a cap or resistor and the pot itself should be replaced by a qualified tech.
With incredibly attractive aesthetic appointments , this Tonemaster features a quintessential retro styling. Features a beige and black two tone finish and the floating chevron on the grill cloth.
