1965 1966 Jensen C10P 8 ohm Fender Special Design Princeton Reverb, Tremolux, Vibrolux, others

Great, and I mean great speaker. I pulled this from a lightly used 1966 Kalamazoo Bass amp in which this was surface mounted. I believe, based on exhaustive and confusing research that this speaker is correct for Princeton, Princeton Reverb, Vibrolux and Vibrolux Reverb at least, and should work in many other applications, such as Tremolux 2x10" cabinet, Concert, Super, Deluxe, Bassman, and other Fendery goodness. Further, the C10P appears to be the same as C10NS, and is rated at 35-40w. Excellent+ condition overall: Note the gorgeous red and gold decal.

Dated the 43rd week of 1965, this speaker should be appropriate for 1965 or early 1966. Measures 7 ohms DC resistance. I have tried this speaker with a champ clone and it's got the stuff. It is everything it is said to be. The paper cone is perfect and it sounds just right: Not too loose and not too tight.

So what's wrong with it? As I said these were surface mounted and they are gasketed on the back, Some of the gasket stayed stuck to the amp (see pics.) The front gasket is quite nice.
