Dead mint ‘86. Absolutely gorgeous early PRS with the small heel, sweet switch and original case. Brazilian Rosewood fretboard with Moon inlays. Hard to believe this guitar is almost 37 years old. It looks as if it came from the Virginia Avenue facility last week. You can see the grain of the maple and mahogany through the nitro finish in the pictures. Those aren’t scratches. I wouldn’t be surprised if the strings were from the factory as I have never changed them, and there is literally no wear on the frets or anywhere else on this guitar. The case is in excellent condition, but not mint like the guitar. Comes with tremolo bar, wrench and case keys. If you are looking for a very early PRS for your collection or museum, this is one to consider. This is a no excuse early example of a PRS Custom 24.
