This listing is for a Hohner Contessa HG-14 nylon string classical style guitar with soft case. This model is the earlier Contessa line made in Japan prior to Hohner moving production to Korea. These were typically built in the late 70's. The Japanese craftsmanship is excellent and this guitar plays beautifully currently setup with D'Addario Pro Arte' regular tension strings. It's in very good condition especially for its vintage age and shows only minimal signs of use. I did replace the tuners with a new set from StewMac which is normal maintenance for these older nylon stringed instruments. It's been well cared for in my adult smoke free home and comes with a nice Cordoba soft case.
