Super clean example of an early 2000s Hamer electric guitar. Carved solid spruce top on Honduran mahogany. Based on web info, we thought the serial indicated 1998, but the Newport Pro wasn't in production yet. A Reverb user messaged us that he believes it's a 2009. Regardless, it's a sweet guitar.
Previous owner had the following mods professionally done:
-Original Seymour Duncan Seth Lover pickups replaced with Seymour Duncan ‘59 in bridge and Pearly Gates in neck
-volume pot replaced with push/pull coil tap.
Frets are in excellent condition with no discernible wear. Pickup covers show some wear around the edges. Overall guitar condition is excellent. Includes original hard shell case, certificate of authenticity, hang tag, etc.
Currently strung with Elixir 010s, I’m happy to restring and adjust with your strings of choice.
