1985 ESP Kamikaze-1 - PROTOTYPE

This is a 1985 ESP George Lynch Kamikaze-1 PROTOTYPE formerly owned and played by George Lynch.

There are ZERO Serial numbers, body markings, etc., meaning PROTOTYPE & the Seymour Duncan DDJ in the bridge position has been confirmed by ESP Japan that this very well may be THE GUITAR Used by George on tour & in the Dokken video for the song "In MY Dreams",

I acquired this beauty via a series of trades with other shred-master guitarists and I believe it needs a proper home. I don't know the exact full story, but George Lynch and Zakk Wylde are involved in it down the line.

The production models have either the Ducan Distortion or The Hunter pickup in the bridge position, this has a 1985 Duncan DDJ (Duncan Distortion hand wound by Maricela Juarez, head of the Seymour Duncan Co. Custom Shop).

I am not sure what the unlabeled neck pickup is, but I assume its a standard ESP SS-120 Single Coil.

This gutar is 'Well-Loved' and would appreciate some TLC that I just do not have time for anymore. There is a small blemish on the front near the side that I have highlighted but doesn't seem to be more than a clear coat ding.

I never had the original tremelo bar for the Original Floyd Rose on this guitar, the bar shown is just for show from another ESP in my collection and does not come with this guitar.

I believe there is a wiring issue either with the push/pull volume pot, or somewhere in the input jack that causes some static and an occasional 'drop-out' with the DDJ, but when its on, it SCREAMS 80's Metal!!!

I'm no electrician or luthier, but everything else seems to be in order with this Shredmaster Deluxe 80's Beauty!!

Hardshell Case included... I have No Idea if it's the original ESP case, but its a nice, heavy-duty one!

She's a quite beefy 9.9 lbs (According to my scale), and 20.7 lbs in the case.

UPDATE: I was JUST able to see George on 2/17/23 at his show with Lynch Mob and Dokken and was able to get him to inspect and sign the back of the headstock. *photos included.
