Those who know, know. The fattest analog synth to ever come out of Italy! Includes the expander module, the super rare foot pedal (all in working condition) and the 140 page manual too.
The ultimate analog Italian synth for the ultimate synth collector. The sounds are surprisingly rich and wide. Up there with Moog, Dave Smith and Oberheim etc. This will quickly become your new go to for songwriting, sound design and scoring.
An incredible monster of a machine and paired with its powerful flagship expander module, it his rig is as rare as hens teeth. Comes with unobtanium English translated manual and separate 250 page TS4K Italian manual (translated for me by a fellow enthusiast).
I actually have very little interest in selling this to be totally honest, I’m just so proud to even own and use it in the studio every day. Both have been fully refurbished and serviced to get them in pristine operation which is described as flawless.
Extremely rare and extremely cool. Mind blowing quality known for their robust power supplies that yield a thicker and fatter sound than most.
Known as the Italian Disco box, this analog synth has 10x the features of other synths of this era. We’ve all seen some amazing stuff come out of Italy, such as Vox and Binson, and the Solton brand by Ketron labs is some of the coolest analog synths ever made and certainly garners our vote for best Italian synth of all time.
Both items listed in this sale are flagship, top of the line products from Solton too. The TS4K is the big brother of the Solton Programmer 24 and features everything from an onboard sequencer to AMAZING analog drums, to synth to strings… everything you’d want out of a modern analog synth and more. Perfect for studio or performances.
If you are unfamiliar with these incredible synthesizers, get ready to o be shocked at what you’ve stumbled across.
We start with many familiar sounds and presents you’d expect from a great synth: Lots of great synth leads, orchestral and band instruments, great strings, etc but what REALLY sets these two machines apart, for me personally, are the incredible drums. Im an analog drum junkie and have collected pretty much every iconic machine known to man, this machine astounds me. As thick and wide as anything else out there, and one the very best at this price. Bold statement I know but true. I believe that if Michael Jackson and Prince had heard the TS4K drums, especially the integral kick & snare, they would’ve really loved them like I did when I first heard them. Very close to the Linn drums to my ears.
These drums have been on everything I’ve made since I got them and have the thickest, beefiest hip hop swag you can imagine. They sound killer on all pop genres and have 7 separate physical outputs for each drum like the Oberheim DX or the Linn drums!
The coolest part is each of the 7 drums, which you can sequence, have their own separate 1/4" output for studio tracking and mixing!
Another thing to love about these two units is the built-in widening chorus on all the instruments aka Roland Juno. If you have ever used a Juno-106, you know how powerful the chorus section is, and arguably what put the Juno 106 on the map in the first place. Sultan took an obvious cue from Roland and added that exact MN3009 type BBD chip to these keyboards to make them wider and fatter than any other keyboard of its day. It gives these keyboards the same larger than life, 3D holographic sound that cemented the Juno/Jupiter line of keyboards as some of the best sounding analog synths of all time. These have that same sound I adore.
The last thing I really like on these synthesizers is the ability to sequence onboard. You can build out a song in the Sequencer and save it to a disk or internal memory and trigger different sections with the included foot controller for live performances. It’s extremely unique and way ahead of its time. It also has tons of groovy presets you can alter and add sections to. It’s quite versatile indeed and lends itself to any genre you throw at it beautifully.

Included in this listing is the TS4K flagship keyboard and their flagship MS40 multimedia music station. The MS4 was the little brother of the MS 40. The MS 40 is the flagship expander just like the TS4K was the flagship keyboard. Both are the best Solton had to offer at the time, to my knowledge.
Please note that the MS40 is American standard 120V but the TS4K is 220v So I am currently using it with a large step down transformer but you will need to grab one on eBay for 20 bucks if you don’t already have one (every studio should have a few anyway imo) or I can sell you mine for $20 if need be.
This listing also comes with a powerful switching PSU box for the TS4K with proprietary cables, as shown.
Also included is the foot pedal expander which operates on a SCSI connector which works for either unit (both units have a foot controller SCSI input). Everything is in great shape with no issues at all.
