Near new '05 Big Guild F-50R Jumbo guitar( r for rosewood which is SOLID rosewood. remember, the maple f-50 is a laminate which is a nice way of saying " plywood ", with Geib style OHSC, with key, and recently purchased Seymore Duncan Woody XL pickup with adjustable pole pieces which is absolutely necessary as the plain strings are much louder. Also comes with 2 extra pole pieces, wrench and paperwork. Purchased from co-worker who bought it new in '06 and shortly thereafter lost interest in learning to play. Fortunately, he had the good sense to de-tune the strings as it sat in his closet for several years before I got it. of course, premium solid east Indian sides and back with select solid spruce top. Big, beautiful mother of pearl and abalone inlays. Big booming sound and practically plays itself. Only finish flaw is a very narrow strip on back of neck, picture three. looks like something got stuck to the neck and pulled off some laquer when removed. i don't know for sure and does not impede playing at all. I've played and loved these big, top of the line Guilds for over 40 years. Has abalone inlaid solid ebony bridge pins along with originals and another bone bridge. Over the decades I have accumulated over 20 hand made acoustics and this seems to just sit in the case. the low price is in no way indicating anything even minutely wrong, this is just what i can sell it for. I'm hoping a young player ready for their first professional guitar gets it. you'll love it for decades. i don't need to sell, so no low balls. this is an honest listing for an honest sale. Needs a new, loving good home. No disappointments here. I have original Guild shipping box also. Continental U.S. only. Fully insured. Thanks p.s. i'm getting a lot of questions as to why such a fine instrument sits in the case. i was born in kalamazoo, michigan when gibsons were still there and king. my best friend was the final inspector so great guitars are in my dna. i'm 64 and retired from the motion picture industry because of a bad motorcycle accident in 2012. i haven't played out in over 10 years but i love high end guitars so i still collect. i keep an early james goodall standard by the couch but it seems to get hit by a falling remote every time i get up so the rest stay in their cases for protection. i get them out every 6 months or so to re-string and polish.
