Up for grabs we have here for sale is a serious blast from the past. Back before a lot of us could even recall these funky shaped guitars coming out of Japan we’re absolutely everywhere! Hanging in every music store, department store and home. They’re reminiscent of a time before this over saturation of gear was ever even a thought.
This Teisco WG-4L is as funky as they come with enough sounds to get every sound you could possibly think of. Now couple this with this unique bridge design and a body shape to follow and you have yourself a punk rock machine.
This guitar has been fully tested by me and it works just as good as the first day it was made. All of the electronics are fully functional, the neck is straight as can be, and the truss rod functions exactly as intended. The neck is probably one of the most interesting shapes I’ve ever felt in out a soft “D” shape by the first fret and slowly tapers to a soft “V” as it gets down
The fretboard almost forming a legitimate point! Cosmetically it’s in great shape for its age and has a ton of MOJO
The action is comfortably low and the scale length makes this thing absolutely rip!! A true enjoyment to play. Comes with the original chip board case and even more rare… the original tremolo arm that I can’t for the life of me figure out how it’s supposed to stay in. Maybe some washers?
Either way, these guitars are getting tougher and tougher to find as years go on and will soon be impossible to find for a reasonable price.
