The JOS is one of the most popular models in the J-Standard series, and since the specification change in 2020, most of them have had a maple top and basswood back, except for a few special models.

In fact, there was a similar model in the lineup for a short period of time just before the specification change, but it was swallowed up by the wave of specification changes and disappeared.

All other models were modern specs with the top wood applied across the board, but now, at last, a model that follows the traditional style has appeared!

We are pleased to announce the release of a new model that follows the traditional style!

It has an alder body and rosewood fretboard, and the materials used are also traditional style.

No binding is wrapped around the body, and the entire body is painted to give a secure look, while ensuring the comfortable playability typical of the JOS2.

The body is slightly small and easy to hold. Even beginners who want to start playing guitar will surely be helped in their progress by its stress-free playability.

The beautiful fret treatment named "J-Standard Fret Edge" supports smooth fingering.

The precision of Fujigen's fret treatment is extremely high, and as mentioned above, not only is it highly playable, but it is also resistant to fret burrs, which are common during the winter season.

The fret board is made in Japan, which means less time and money is spent on unnecessary maintenance.

Of course, the well-known circle fretting system of Fujigen is also equipped. This system produces good pitch and rich sustain.

The compound radius, which has attracted attention and is often used by various companies, is also included. The fretboard flattens out as it reaches the high frets for excellent playability.

The popular S-S-H layout pickups are all newly developed Fujigen originals.

While other JOS series guitars are often equipped with Seymour Duncan pickups, the pursuit of a more traditional sound led to the original pickups being installed.

The mini-switch allows coil tapping for a more subtle and sharp tone.

The versatility of the JOS2 is a feature of this guitar, and it is a great choice for all players.
