One doesn't come across these often. Most of what you see are the basic one CDP-CE 225,345,375's etc...
This is the less often purchased Model number.
The unit is clean and scratch free ( one little one on top) Overall beautiful condition.
Nicely cleaned and tested for hours and hours to ensure all is good and reliable. . The display is crisp and clear and also displays disc info ( where available) not just the disc. track info. A bright crisp and clear display is an indicator of a "low hours of use" unit. Looks amazing for a unit from 1999/2000
You can use this to Daisy Chain with the MegaChanger series - 100/200/300/ 400 series and sub models .. or can be used as a transport for a DAC player via TOSLINK / Digital Optical Output
What I also see immediately is a heavier, better build quality - and noticeably quieter.
there is no remote included. any audio CD remote will operate it and I will include a compatible one for the basic control features (Not Pictured) The correct remote is only really needed for daisy chaining applications - I have one up for sale and two 300 disc models being prepped now. If you have a megachanger - you can use that one and set the code to another channel. or if the one I supply doesn't do it for you the actual original part number is RM-DC525 - runs about 15-20 - generally. If you do not need my remote - lmk. It's a throw in anyway.

The hybrid pulse digital-to-analog (D/A) converter is an advanced design that places the four D/A converters and digital filter on a single integrated circuit. The digital servo control system maintains stable tracking, laser focus, and disc rotation, all with high precision and low radiated noise, with an optical digital output for a pure connection with an MD or DAT recorder. The disc check feature spins each disc into view so you can see what you've loaded, and the second CD input enables you to connect a Mega Storage CD changer and then route the signals from both to a single receiver input. The Custom File memory (305 discs) uses the unique ID number pressed into each CD's subcode area, and the Custom File player can remember and display a name for each CD, along with specific instructions depending on how you prefer to play it. The Disc Memo display feature helps you remember which discs you have loaded, and lets you assign an alphanumeric name for up to 600 discs. Names are shown on the front panel and on the LCD of Sony's two-way remote control. The Custom File delete bank feature is perfect for use when a CD you like includes songs you hate. Use delete bank to skip selected songs, or switch it off for playback of complete discs.
