Original Gibson Mastertone Special Lap Steel built sometime between 1939 and 1941. Right now it is in good working condition. The high E, B & G string tuner buttons are original. The G string tuner had part of it disintergrate and crack off but is still working. I recently replaced The 3 low side tuner buttons. If you look at the pictures carefully, some show the original rotting buttons and the last ones show the 3 replaced buttons. I'm including 3 more buttons so when the time comes to replace the high side, they will all match. The electronics look all original. The pickup sounds great and the volume control works well. The tone control is pretty scratchy as you bring it down and doesn't make a big difference in tone. As with most old guitars from this era the cap should be replaced along with the pot to make it work like new. (Save all original parts) Includes original shopboard case.
