Fender Mustang Electric Guitar with Rosewood Fretboard 1977 - Natural

For sale is a lovely Fender Mustang from 1977. This guitar is in great overall shape, with some scuffing and finish crazing/deteriorating, average wear for it's age. The unfortunate main issue with this guitar is that someone has sanded down the taller body horn, if you compare it to a normal Mustang you can see how it is different. It appears the pickguard may have been switched out, as the control switches are on the opposite side of the pickguard, as well as a different style. I am unsure of what pickups it has, but they are not original as this came with single coils. It has been mentioned to me that this is likely a one piece body, with possibly one small piece that is not a single piece - but to me it looks like a one piece body (nice chunk of wood!) The action is excellent and has been set up nicely, and it looks like the neck is nice and straight. The frets have fairly typical wear, if I had to put a number on it I'd say somewhere between 65-75% there, plenty playable. Overall, this guitar is a great piece. I do not have the original case for it, and it will be shipped in either a generic hard or soft case - whatever the best I have available at the time of sale.
