Free The Tone SOV-2 Overdrive Rare First Issue Hand-Built Providence Custom Shop Number 5 Of 80
Ultra rare! Free The Tone SOV-2 Overdrive, made in Japan. Not the "Stampede" or "Signature" series. but an early first issue model hand built by Yuki Hayashi through the Custom Shop arm of Providence, prior to Free The Tone becoming a full separate and independent entity of its own.
Awesome sounding tone! Reviewed as a fabled Overdrive pedal. It's documented that there were only around 80 of these of these made. (see Google) The first ten of these are rumored to have the best sound.
This was the model Matt Schofield used prior to his signature series being in production. .In perfect working order standard Boss type 9v mains or 9v battery (Not supplied)The listing is for the pedal only as shown, Serial number 0005F As shown a little use related cosmetic wear see all pictures for condition
Note: With a few more circuit tweaks this SOV-2 is more closely related to the current hand-built Free The Tone model than the Providence SOV-2 Stampede Overdrive.
