as described by a professional luthier:
The filler on the rosewood sides and back was not compatible with the clear coat finish. this resulted in raising the clear coat finish (see pictures) It also may be the result of the oil in the rosewood.
The ends of the acoustic bridge are very thin and became slightly curved. For cosmetic purposes, brown glue was used to fill in the VERY small gap between the ends of the bridge and body. The integrity and structure of the guitar is fine.
Guitar plays great and sound good.
This guitar was made in Charles Fox's small shop in NorCal by Mr. Fox and his small crew of luthiers. Charles Fox himself is a well-renowned luthier who started the American School of Lutherie and has made some of the finest guitars costing many thousands of dollars.
12/15/22: I added more pictures of the sides and back to show the finish flaws. All of the finish on the rosewood back and sides have this issue.
I've spoke about with several people who have told me the rosewood finish issue happens is rare but not unheard of, even on new guitars.
