SSL 242 Black Equalizer 4 band 500 Series Clone (5 of6)

For sale is (1) 500 series 242 black knob SSL clone EQ in excellent working condition. If your interested I have 6 of these identical units for sale in separate listings. The knobs have slight wear on the front, there are no visible scratches on the units. If you purchase more than one I will provide discounted shipping. The PCB is designed by Famous Four Band EQ available from GroupDIY.

I built 6 of these DIY units, all of which are for sale. All of the features are in working condition. The eq parameters are very similar to SSL black knob EQ plugins that I have used (Waves and Brainworx) for comparison. I am listing these for a price similar to the build cost, my loss your gain. I am selling these hardware EQs to simplify my recording/mixing setup, they sound great and are easy to use.

These are designed with a 1246 input and 1646 output ( transformerless) similar to the SSL design. It is possible with this PCB design to swap out parts and have a 2520 transformer for the EQ. The low and high bands are switchable from bell to shelf. There is a bypass switch included. The total cut and boost range is 18DB. The EQ does not include the low or high pass filters similar to the actual SSL 500 series EQ design.
