1960 Vintage Kent Americana Sunburst W/Hardshell Case
Great example of a Japanese Kent Americana.A big issue with these models were the pickups, they were very weak and not very usuable. These pickups have been replaced with Kent armstrong humbuckers. They sound great! Guitar plays very nicely and sounds very fine acoustically as well. Amazing shape considering the age! A few small marks and dings but overall incredibly well taken care of. Will ship in a hard case.
Checked over by our luthier-
-Straight neck
-Responsive truss
-No visible fret wear
-Clean electronics
-Plays great with low action and no fretting out anywhere
-Pickups sound great (see last pics for pickups readings)
-Very comfortable neck (see last pics for neck contour)
Weighs: 5lbs 3.1oz, Nut width: 1.69, Width at 12th: 2.04, 1st fret neck depth: .92, 12th fret neck depth: .945, Neck Profile: C Chunky
Great vintage Japanese Kent! Comes with a hard case that fits the guitar well and is in good shape.
