About This Listing

An excellent mandolin that was handmade in New Hartford, Iowa. This one in particular has a beautiful figured maple back. It has a wonderful open tone and really resonates due to the varnish finish. The banjo sized frets really add a nice touch as well. It will ship in a very nice hard shell case. It has some play wear, mostly from my tone guard and arm rest. Obviously none of this affects the sound. It recently received a set up and the frets were crowned and polished. It sounds great and is ready to play!
