Hamer Chaparral 1990 - Aztec Gold, 1-piece body

A very special Hamer Chaparral from Hamer's heyday around 1990. This guitar features a very special 1-piece flame maple body with the aztec gold finish. It's especially beautiful along the back body contours with the flames feather out across the guitar. Even the neck has a good amount of flame! HSS pickup configuration with very musical and useful in-between settings make this one of the more versatile models Hamer offered.

All around this guitar is in fantastic shape -- the board and frets are great, there's less wear than you typically find along the headstock and hardware. The neck plate has some mottling and wear (and writing is not very distinguishable) and there are some checks and small dings in the finish that show when the light catches them. All around though, pretty close to what you would have experienced buying this guitar 30 years ago.

It comes with original paperwork from the Japanese import dealer, the original hardcase, and trem arm. I'm a huge Hamer fan. I'd love a korina standard, if anyone would like to work out a deal around that and any other of my listings. Also interested in rare Hamers, especially good examples of green or red stain maple.
