1960s King Conga 12.5" Fiberglass Tumba
VIDEO DEMO IN PHOTOS.
Black paint or lacquer.
60s or early 70s.
Head measures edge-to-edge 12.75" to 13" at different points. This is likely due to large rounded edge, as they regularly produced 12.5" Tumbas.
Some scuffs and scratches around.
Three small dents in the edge of the head.
Appears to be original head. Still in good shape and plays well.
Tripod conga stand included. Not very stable and metal is near cracked at some point.
Manufactured in Fremont, California, and founded by Cirilo "Mitch" Basas in the late 1960s.
