The Grote GT-150 is a Fender Telecaster Thinline clone. This is the Super Series model 2019. This guitar was purchased to be a mod project. While it turned out to be a good product right out of the box, I still proceeded to upgrade most parts. I installed locking tuners and rolling string trees, I polished the frets and rolled the fingerboard edges, I swapped the pickups for a couple of Guitar Fetish 63 Vintage (Neck) and 63 Hotter (Bridge), and upgraded the electronics to full size pots and blade switch. The custom body design is a M. C. Escher-inspired vinyl print and it can be removed if preferred, with no damage to the body which is a printed quilt wood. The last image shows what the body looks like under it.
