Looking to capture the authentic 80’s DX7 sound? This is it! The TX802 can operate as eight DX7’s with eight separate outputs.

Here’s the description from Vintage Synth Explorer: “…the TX802 FM Tone Generator is basically a rack-module version of the DX7mkII with full 8-part multi-timbral operation for sequencing and/or key mapping. It has 16-voices of polyphony and six digital FM Operators, the same as in the DX7mkII. There are 128 preset and 64 user patches for your sounds, as well as an external memory cartridge slot.”

This unit has been well cared for since the 80s. I just had the battery changed and all the factory patches restored this year, so it operates like new. As you’ll see, the exterior includes some scratches and rack rash, but not bad for a 35-year-old piece of gear.

It sounds GREAT and I hope you enjoy it as much as I have throughout the years!
