Peavey Patriot Bass in Natural with original case 1985

I acquired this bass in a trade a few years ago. Trying to play a normal scale bass again was causing my shoulder to act up, so I've switched back to a short-scale bass. For the past few months the Peavey Patriot has been living in its case waiting for me to decide what to do with it.

The Super Ferrite pickup sounds great. When I initially listed it on Reverb someone messaged me to say that it's an unusual color, so the bass might have been refinished at some point. There do seem to be some spots that look a little darker in the wood , so it's possible that one of the previous owners wanted the natural wood look. It has the original case and paperwork. It's mostly been used at home for writing and recording and I've never played a show with it.
