For sale is my Bourgeois JOMT SS from their Vintage series. Some specs first:
-Adirondack Top -Indian Rosewood back and sides -25” short scale -1 23/32” nut -2.23” string spacing at saddle -Ziricote headstock overlay -Waverly tuners
The JOM was developed by Bourgeois as a larger alternative to their OM model. This one being a JOMT, it has the outline of the JOM but with a standard OM depth. I like to think of it as an OM+, with a palpably larger sound than the standard OM, a bit more dimension and bass. To my ear it’s got a nice dry sparkle to it also. I primarily am a finger picker, and this one does it well. Individual notes carry a nice clear sound and the trebles have enough oomph to carry a melody. Perhaps a consequence of the body design, it’s a nice strummer also, and reacts well to single note flat picking. It is quite a versatile guitar.
The guitar is in overall excellent shape, with only minimal wear. There is light scratching / swirling that is brought out by bright light. Very slight fretwear in the lower positions.
Currently has a nice setup, just under 6/64”-4/64” from bass to treble, with a touch of relief.
Comes with the original hard case, a double arched deluxe TKL.
A nicely spec’ed and great sounding and playing guitar.
Thanks for looking!
