About This Listing

The EarthQuaker Devices Grand Orbiter 4-stage phaser pedal serves up a full palette of phasing grooviness that's perfect for guitar - or anything else you'd like to enhance with this classic '70s effect. Grand Orbiter's OTA-based circuit is augmented with a 3-way switch that lets you select between modulation ranges: Rate 1 is slow sweep mode; Rate 2 kills the LFO, letting you use Grand Orbiter as a fixed resonant filter; Rate 3 is fast sweep mode. Rate and Depth knobs complete the control set.

Features:
  • 100% analog phasing effects with explicit control
  • Ideal for guitar, or anything else you'd like to enhance with this classic effect
  • Compact footprint: 4 5/8" x 2 1/2" x 2 1/4" (including knobs)
  • Added LFO kill mode lets you use the Orbiter as a fixed resonant filter
  • Additional LED that shows rate, even in bypass mode
  • Controls:
    • Depth: controls amount of phase effect mixed with dry signal
    • Rate: controls speed of LFO
    • Sweep: controls frequency peak of the sweep
    • Resonance: controls regeneration of phased signal
    • Rate 1, 2, 3: changes range of speed control
    • Phase/Vibrato: cuts dry signal to create a vibe/vibrato effect
  • True bypass
  • Requires standard 9-volt DC power supply with 2.1mm negative-center barrel
  • Handcrafted in EarthQuaker's Akron, Ohio, factory

Product Overview
The EarthQuaker Devices Grand Orbiter V2 Phaser is an OTA-based phaser with two speed modes and an LFO-kill mode (position two) to make the pedal a resonant filter. Flip on the Vibrato mode, and the dry signal is removed. The original version of this pedal had a larger footprint and lacked the LFO-kill mode.
