Texar Audio Prism FM Broadband Processor, featuring adjustable Compression/Expansion on 4 separate bands. Includes the Texar Eagle peak limiter (adjustable through the top cover).
The Texar Audio Prism was one of the most sought after processors in the 1980s -90s for its clean sound, particularly as a pre-processor to the popular Orban series devices. A screw terminal strip on the rear allows connection for the balanced I/O. Four bands of independently controlled processing ensure a loud yet clean sound over a wide range of input source material.
Recently serviced and tested - all that was needed was a new fuse and fuse holder. See video for bench test. The link here says video not available but click on it and it will play on YouTube. It’s probably because of the test song played in the vid which invoked a copyright claim.
The picture of all the LEDs lit up was taken at power-up during the diagnostic cycle. Unit is in very good cosmetic condition. Only a few small scratches on the front by the left rack ear. Feel free to make an offer and thanks for looking!
