Foxing Hour RECT PCB/panel set // dual video-rate rectifier and frequency doubler

RECT by Foxing Hour is a dual rectifier and frequency doubler compatible with the LZX Industries modular video standard. two identical circuits offer three variations each on a given input signal:

• highlights only - clips darker regions below approximately 0.5V leaving only bright portions of the input signal.
• shadows only - clips highlights above approximately 0.5V leaving only the darker portions of the input signal.
• frequency doubler - produces a basic solarization/frequency doubling effect.

in addition, the frequency doubler output of the upper section is normalized to the input of the lower section so feeding a single signal to the upper input produces six variations of the input signal!
