About This Listing

From our Tri-Cone model range, here is a nickel & chrome plate, solid brass body guitar with stunning good looks to match its incredible sound. Tri-cone resonators have a different sound to their single cone cousins as the lower of the three cones works slightly out of phase with the upper two, giving an almost chorus effect; and the brass body produces a warmer more bell like tone compared to steel body resonators. The attention to detail in the build and specification sets this instrument apart from others of a similar price; such  the precision spun resonator cones;  the hand finished maple string saddle; the round back neck with  fully bound rosewood fretboard and vintage style slotted headstock and 14 frets to the body. Lastly, we set up the guitar with 16-56 gauge phosphor bronze resonator strings. The result is an instrument with superior and authentic tone and playability; and with its 46mm wide string nut and a string action height of 3mm (+/- 0.25mm) at the 12th fret, this guitar will delight finger pickers and slide players alike.
