About This Listing

This is Ed Van Halen’s 2004 Charvel Art Series Prototype. Named by Charvel “Mule X2-B Prototype”. This was sent to Ed from Charvel in 2004. This prototype was made specifically for Ed to inspect and play and give feedback for the 2004 EVH production run. There were only two of these guitars made. X1-B and X2-B. One has a pick guard, the other does not. There is no trem arm and it is in the original case. Labels have been taped to the body and neck. This guitar rings like a bell and sounds incredible. The body and neck are both unfinished. It comes in the original shipping carton with label coming from Charvel to Barb Page, Ed’s business manager and whom Ed gave these guitars to as a gift. A letter from Barb Page is also included. No returns. This will be double boxed to keep the original carton in its original condition.

Check out many other of Ed’s items that are for sale on our site. And we have many more items of Ed’s that have not been uploaded on the site. Feel free to call or email. Thanks.
