This is a VERY GOOD Bach Stradivarius 184 cornet, medium-large bore in silver plate. The Bach Strad is a very popular cornet among professional players, and there's a reason why-Bach quality is unsurpassed. For over 50 years these trumpets have been at the forefront of all kinds of cornet playing-symphonic band, brass band, dixie, and even the occasional orchestra gig (hello Berlioz!), and have outperformed their competitors at every turn. The model 184 has the shepherd's crook configuration which has a sound like no other kind of cornet. This horn is used but still a good player. Original silver shows some wear and is 95%. Valves are excellent. Body is good with the usual minor dings. Pics tell the rest of the story!
